Beach ”Cala Torta”
near Arta (East) Also known as: S'AduaiaDetailed Description
The beautiful sandy beach of Cala Torta lies amidst mountainous, undeveloped countryside. There is a tiny bar here that offers snacks, but besides that, nothing in terms of facilities. The beach is also not always watched by a lifeguard. When the wind blows, the waves can be spectacular, but be careful when swimming as there are also currents present. Rocky formations provide privacy, so the beach is often used by nudists. Hikers will also enjoy the adjacent hilly countryside, particularly to the right-hand-side of the beach, where you can hike through to the villas of Cala Mesquida, passing by small swimming pools on the way. The road that leads to the car park is somewhat bumpy.
