Beach Cala Mitjana bei Arta
near Artà (east)
Detailed Description
The sandy beach Cala Mitjada lies in the middle of unspoiled environment, offering nothing in terms of facilities besides a small beach bar, which itself is only sometimes open. This means that the beach is not as crowded as others, so you can always find a spot to relax in the sun. Unfortunately, seaweed restricts the beach surface sometimes. Those who wish can also walk along the coast, passing the neighbouring Cala Torta on the way to the village of Cala Mitjana. The trail leading to the beach is rather bumpy, and the water has currents when the weather is bad, so we do not recommend swimming here.
