Beach Cala Mitjana bei Cala d'Or
near Felanitx (south)
Detailed Description
In the middle of a forest lies the wonderful small beach of Cala Mitjana. Its location, however, makes it rather difficult to find. Start at the car park of the neighbouring bay of Cala Sa Nau before setting off on this two-kilometre hike. First, go back on the road for a short distance before following the signposts. Follow the coastline over a stony, bumpy, winding path. With that in mind, make sure that you do not fall! The journey is worth it, however, with beautiful, green scenery. Once there, the cliff walls and pine woods protect you from the wind, and the crystal-clear water is ideal for diving and snorkelling.
