Binibona (North)
Binibona is a small village located in the municipality of Selva. This charming village is situated at the foot of the Tramuntana mountain range. It has been a pioneer in rural tourism and we must visit it if we want to see the best examples first hand. The village has medieval origins, the foundational nucleus arose around the houses of Son Catxo, currently known as Can Beneït. From the 1950s onwards, after a few years of almost total unemployment, foreigners began to refurbish the houses to use them as second homes or small rural hotels. Binibona is 20 minutes by car from the beautiful bay of Pollensa.
