Bunyola (West)

Bunyola is located in the south of the Tramuntana mountains in the northwest of Mallorca. Its beautiful landscape is very attractive for walkers and cyclists. Mountains, forests, striking typical houses, a church, charming narrow streets and a lively square are the attractions of this village close to the Tramuntana mountain range. The forest of Sa Comuna, to the north of the village, is the largest on the island and is a place where important prehistoric remains can be found. Bunyola's weekly market is held two days a week: on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in the village square, where you can find a variety of regional products. The well-known Sóller train, an old wooden railway that runs through the most charming villages on the island of Mallorca, passes through the village of Bunyola. From the small station of Bunyola you can travel back in time and explore the Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site, on a vintage train.
