Villas in Campos

Campos is a municipality located in the southern part of Mallorca, the cosy village is surrounded by beautiful nature, is a quiet rural place, acts as the administrative centre of this corner of the island and is famous for its long sandy beaches and turquoise waters. The nearest villages Santanyi and Llucmajor are only a few minutes away by car and the beach of Sa Rapita is about 12 km southwest of Campos. In this small and harmonious locality live about 8.000 people, most of them Majorcan. Visitors meet few tourists here, as there are hardly any hotels in the town. Nevertheless, Campos is not lacking in interest: in the medieval town centre you can visit the traditional Mallorcan narrow streets and stately mansions and in the evening you can experience the atmosphere of the town in the Plaza Major with some tapas and a glass of local wine. Also worth a visit is Botanicactus, a large botanical garden where, as the name suggests, there are many cacti to admire. The economy of this municipality has been linked to agriculture since its foundation. Its lands are fertile, so until a few years ago, agriculture was based on irrigated crops.
