Cas Concos des Cavaller (South)
Cas Concos is a small resort in the east of the island. It is located between the resorts of Felantitx and Santanyi. The name Cas Concos comes from the Conco family in the sixteenth century, who were the owners of the largest estates at that time. The idyllic landscape with rolling hills, fruit trees and meadows characterises the resort. Close to the resort are the popular sandy beaches of Es Trenc and Cala Mondrago, which are frequented by countless holidaymakers for a day at the beach under bright sunshine and blue skies. Worth seeing is the large convent at the end of Calle Major, which is still inhabited by nuns. For a long time, the economic basis of Cas Concos was extensive agriculture and cattle breeding. Nowadays, the focus is on the production of cheese, wine and wood crafts as well as tourism. In the centre of the resort there are small cafés and restaurants with Mallorcan cuisine where holidaymakers can indulge themselves.
