The municipality of Muro is located in the northeast of Mallorca, between Sa Pobla in the north and Santa Margalida in the southeast, and has about 6,500 inhabitants, 70% of whom are locals. In the immediate vicinity is the natural park "S'Albufera", where you can observe plants and birds typical of the island. In the centre of the town, there are pleasant cafés and restaurants, as well as narrow streets with stately mansions. The parish church "Sant Joan" is also worth seeing, as well as the bullring built in 1929, which is located in an old quarry. The nearest beach is the "Playa de Muro", which can be reached at a distance of about 7 km and is located in the large bay of Alcudia. This picturesque village with its sandstone buildings and old church is a typical example of traditional Majorca.
