Sa Font de sa Cala is a family-friendly cove on the east coast of Mallorca, surrounded by low cliffs and pine trees. The 100 metre long beach is not far from Capdepera, the tourist resort of Canyamel and the picturesque fishing port of Cala Ratjada. The small bay, which is quite busy at the height of summer, is framed by rocky, lightly wooded slopes. The name refers to a freshwater spring located in its land area, although there is also another underwater spring, so the surrounding seawater is cooler and not as salty. On the right side you will see a canal that closes off this beach, while on the left side there are terraced pine trees. The beach is very comfortable, with calm water and shallow depth.
