Son Macià (East)
Son Macia is a small town in the interior east of Mallorca. It is part of the municipality of Manacor and has just over 800 inhabitants. The profoundly rural character has always characterized the economic base of the town, which has known how to preserve its traditions and which are still valid today. Son Macia is about 7 kilometers from the Mediterranean coast, so it has beaches such as Cala Virgili, Cala Bota, Cala Pilota, Cala Magraner, Cala Domingos, Cala Varques, etc. just a step away. There is also a significant number of archaeological sites around the town, such as the Son Vaquer dolmen; natural and artificial caves that served as burial sites. If you are passionate about hiking or excursions in beautiful places, Son Macia is a very good choice. If you are also a golf lover, in neighboring Felanitx you will find an 18-hole course.
